I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 12 years old. I used to be a serious player in my 20s and 30s copying fingerstyle pieces played by Leo Kottke, Werner Laemmerhirt and others during that time. Then, after a long break I took classical lessons for a couple of years, basics as well as some baroque pieces or temporary stuff composed by David Qualey. Then, unfortunately, another break for a few years. Then at some point I started playing Celtic fingerstyle DADGAD for the most part. I had an amazing teacher, Jens Kommnick. All that happened while I was living in Germany. Here in the United States I haven't met any musician yet. When I came across Elite Guitarist I thought this would be a great opportunity to get back to where I was or at least closer. So I bought a Cordoba Hauser* and here I am looking forward to learn some of the amazing stuff I've found on this site.
* At least I can't blame the guitar for any glitches. :)
