I'm now contemplating selling my 2 guitars to help finance the Yulong Guo Double Top.

These guitars are highly rated, and are being compared to concert guitars 3 times the price.
I love the unusual design and how they sound in this video, I'd be interested to hear your opinions.
Does anyone know of Rafal Turkowiak guitars? They look very interesting and around the same price as the others in this thread.

I really like Michael Thames' 'La Leona'. Here's Matt Palmer playing an interesting version of Capricho Arabe, and then Julia Florida follows after.
If you like double tops, I can recommend Wolfgang Jellinghaus' Signature model and La Allamagna model. I got the Allamagna last year and liked it so much I ordered a signature model right away. I love them both, especially with Savarez Alliance strings.
The store in London where I saw the Yulong Guo has now sold it but there's no rush to find a new guitar. I love the two I have currently and taking such a step up in quality would need a lot of thought and time to do the homework.
I'm very impressed with the quality of the Alhambra 4P I have, more so than the more expensive Esteve, so another option is the Alhambra signature range, and the one that stands out for me is the Luthier Aniversario. There's a few videos in the link:

Hi Tavi, I was watching a video of Michael Thames this morning talking about the La Leona he was building. It's available on his website for $5000, which is just under a thousand more than a Guo. The others are around 7k.
I agree with the comments in the video below that it sounds the sweetest (#4) of them all, video wont upload so just a link

Hi Nathan, yes, a few of my students have Guo guitars. They are nice and play easily. I am not sure what the price is but for comparison, you may want to also look at Michael Thames' double top instruments. Good luck with your purchase and definitely share with us some clips when you get your new baby.
