The soundboard of my Picado 54 seems to be concave between the soundhole and the bridge (see photo above where I have place a flat glasses case on it and the light is coming through).... is this a problem?

It's a miracle that a guitar stays together considering all the tension placed on the wood by the bending processes and the string tension. I am glad your guitar is fine. I will be in London in February 2019 and plan to check out the London Guitar Studio.
So, I took my guitar into the London Guitar Studio.... I am relieved to say the warping is totally normal for the age of the guitar. False alarm!
