Piece is Sonata in A (K.322/L.483) by Domenico Scarlatti - Arr. Thomas Koenigs
(1) With this 'trill' (circled in red) do I hammer on and pull off with the 4 starting on 'E' and 1 on 'D'?
(2) Then slide back to the C# with the 1......is the C# created with just the slide or should I slide and pick the C# with my right hand finger?
(3) Also two bars along the music 'trill' indicates 41 and not 4141 as before....is there a specific reason for this?
Any advice much appreciated ;-)
The piece seems a bit strangely fingered. Let me see if I can take a look at it and provide a short instructional video with the various options available to us.
I have been experimenting with cross string trills and it seems that many players use this technique...think ultimately I will use whichever way feels comfortable and fits in musically with the piece...and possibly vary it for the repeats.
