It would be SO EXCITING to have a tutorial for Schubert’s Lob der Tränen! ...not that there isn’t already enough wonderful material for ten lifetimes. Thanks for this amazing site!

Hi Helen, I never had a favourite composer but it's quickly becoming Schubert. Everyone is familiar with Ave Maria, I then found Standchen which I've posted in the original tutorial suggestion thread, and this piece is also very good. I've printed off some tabs for Standchen but haven't started learning it yet, it would be great to have any of Schuberts pieces as a tutorial. I'll post both pieces played by Marcin Dylla as that's the video I have for Standchen in the big tutorial thread.
Hi again, I listen to Drew Henderson’s version on YouTube...it is perfectly wonderful. I discovered the piece in my quest for more music by Mertz; this is his arrangement.
hi, Thanks not familiar with this song, will check it out on youtube, do you have any suggestions who to listen to, also will check out any Schubert on Ellite Guitarist. Just as an aside i have recently been listening to Weiss. Specifically David Tannenbaum Cd where he plays Suite 21 in e and Suite 16 in A. Some of the most beautiful music and guitar music i have ever heard. much of if is diffiicult for me so as a suggestion some of Weiss on Elite Guitarist if not already there would be welcome by me and others i am sure.
